Speculative lamp design
A personal favorite project of mine, Nyx is a speculative lamp exploration that challenged me to work with unfamiliar materials and completely new topics of discussion. Intended to be a conversation piece, this luminaire brings an illusion aspect of floating or to be “in motion” with its lack of internal structure and dynamic composition.

Shipping Container Glass Blowing Studio
Repurposed from a shipping container, The Glass Lab explores the indoor and outdoor relationship between viewing and working in a glassworking studio space. Starting with conducting studies of the lifecycle of glass and moving to developing a mobile glassworking studio, this design considers workflow relationships, its translation into a glass brick facade, and the connection between viewers and workers.
